Zee TV’s much-loved show ‘Bhagya Lakshmi,’ produced by Balaji Telefilms, has just taken a seven-year leap, bringing in much-needed freshness and a new and intriguing storyline.
In the build-up to the leap, viewers saw Lakshmi (Aishwarya Khare) getting back her memory after Virendra falls off a cliff and slips into a coma. Rishi (Rohit Suchanti) breaks ties with Lakshmi following Malishka’s ploy to frame Lakshmi for the car’s breaks failing.
Lakshmi decided to leave the city and return to her village in Gurdaspur as she had had enough of the challenges and questions about her character in the city. The train she travels in derails, and a dead passenger is mistaken for Lakshmi, making Rishi believe Lakshmi is dead. This breaks his, Ayush and Daadi’s hearts, while Malishka’s excitement knows no bounds. Lakshmi was taken to the hospital where she finds out she is pregnant.
Seven years later, Lakshmi and Shalu are living in their village and working well as farmers. Lakshmi and Rishi’s daughter, Parvati happens to be similar to her mother when it comes to helping others. Rishi on the other hand, has a son named Rohan. Viewers will have lots of questions around him, and they will all be answered as this new chapter unfolds.
We cannot wait to see how Lakshmi and Rishi cross paths again and how Parvati makes her entry into the Oberois lives too. Will Malishka finally get exposed, and Neelam finally accept Lakshmi? Will we see a reunion between Virendra and Lakshmi?
Bhagya Lakshmi airs Monday to Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on Zee TV in India and South Africa, 7:30 p.m. in the UK. The show also streams on Zee5 Global worldwide.
