Actor Rohan Gandotra took two days off from his busy schedule and went to Bikaner to attend a destination wedding. When asked he says,
“My good friend Malvika got married to Sidhant at Bikaner. I was part of their celebration. During signing the contract for Dil Se Dil Tak, I mentioned that I need two days off for this especially. It was a destination wedding in Bikaner and her family is from Delhi.”
As there are no direct flights from Mumbai to Bikaner, Rohan first went to Jaipur and from there he drove down to Bikaner.
He adds,
“The wedding was at Narendra Bhawan Palace at Bikaner. It’s a very beautiful palace which was decorated in vintage and antique style. So they had four functions in two days, mehndi and cocktail on the first day and on the second day, then wedding which was followed by the reception. So I got a suit to wear in the wedding from my collection and I bought a new suit for the reception.”
Speaking about the food Rohan tried, he says
“Rajasthan is famous for lal maans (mutton prepared in red gravy – Rajasthani thali), so I wanted to try that and I made sure to try it because I was there only for two days and couldn’t go out because I was so busy in the wedding. So I especially ate lal maans of Rajasthan which was yummy.”
