I was never inclined toward spirituality before, but in the last two years, I feel drawn to it. Though I don’t want to get into it, I still feel this pull. What is the reason?”

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar beautifully explained that spirituality is the most natural path of human awareness. Anyone with a little intelligence and awareness feels a gentle calling that there is something beyond material success and five sensory pleasures. “Spirituality is the natural way to connect with one’s true nature and soul, and it exists alongside your worldly progress,” he shared.

This conversation touched Donal deeply, opening her up to reflect on her personal journey—She shared her heartfelt reflection deeply connected with her inner journey of the last two years.

Speaking about her evolution, Donal said, “Somewhere, I got the answers to the questions I carried, the phases I crossed, and the things the world taught me over the last couple of years. I have always imagined my life as a ladder of steps.
The first step was my life and little achievements before I entered this industry—the moment I came to Mumbai.
The second was the world of television… I tasted the success TV had to offer. And yet, after a point, I felt there had to be something more.”

She added that seeing the world as it is and turning inward became the third—and most transformative—step of her life. “My conversations with Gurudev Ji and my time at the Art of Living answered so many of the questions I had been carrying silently over the last couple of years.”

Donal also expressed her readiness for the next phase, saying, “Now, I feel I’m ready for the fourth step of the ladder of my life… Sometimes it’s a divine journey you don’t understand in the moment, but I’ve felt it is always for your higher good.”
