Border 2 producer Nidhi Dutta is proving that you really can do it all. As she kicks off the third schedule of the much-anticipated war epic ‘Border 2’ while preparing to welcome her first baby!

Currently in the 9th month of her pregnancy, Nidhi has been fully hands-on with the film’s production, overseeing major creative and logistical details straight from set in Pune. “This film has been part of my life since I was a little girl,” she shares. “To now be making Border 2 while expecting my own child… it feels like a beautiful full-circle moment.”

Nidhi also posted a photo with the Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan on her social media with the caption,

Talk about destiny, Border 2 is a sequel to the 1997 cult classic directed by Nidhi’s father, J.P. Dutta. And fun fact: her mom, Bindiya Goswami, was also pregnant with Nidhi during the making of the original Border. Now Nidhi’s carrying forward the legacy, quite literally, while leading one of the most ambitious war films of the year.

With filming in full swing and a release planned for January 2026, it looks like Border 2 is shaping up to be more than just a cinematic milestone, it’s a generational moment.
