Not even 4 months into 2025, and actor Viineet Kumar Siingh has seen the release of his fourth movie, the much anticipated Sunny Deol-Randeep Hooda starrer Jaat.
Viineet plays the character of Somulu in the action-packed movie and as per early releases, he forms the central story of the plot. Jaat also marks Viineet’s first negative role and his performance has been hailed by one and all.
Undoubtedly known to be a versatile performer, Viineet has been applauded for taking on a negative role and hitting the ball far out of the stadium, with his portrayal of Somulu.
A cold-blooded bad boy, Viineet as Somulu, perfectly embodied his characteristics – a villain with a sense of dark humour, a short temper and his creepy signature cuckoo catcall.
He was also dressed up in the perfect attire, sporting a ganji (vest) paired with vibrant, eye-catching shirts and some chunky chains around his neck.
Somulu delivers some powerful dialogues, but his actions are what speak louder than his words. Somulu looks and is as terrifying and creepy as an antagonist can get.
While his co-stars Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, terrific performers in their own right, have also raked in huge applause for their roles, Viineet once again, stood out from amongst a stellar star cast, holding his own, thus proving that he cannot be stereotyped, nor can be categorised in a certain section.
Viineet, after super successful films like Chhaava and Superboys of Malegaon, and now Jaat, is becoming one of the most underrated and celebrated actors and performers to watch out for!
