In an unprecedented marketing spectacle, Netflix’s latest promotional gimmick for their latest release, Marflix Pictures’ Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins, took it upon themselves to transform one of Mumbai’s most iconic landmarks, the Bandra-Worli Sea-Link.

After parading a gigantic diamond on the streets of Mumbai to promote the heist plot of the movie, the OTT platform elevated the promotional campaign for by illuminating the Bandra-Worli Sea Link with a breathtaking light show featuring striking visuals of actors Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Nikita Dutta.
This dazzling display turned the architectural marvel into a canvas of vibrant colors and cinematic imagery, capturing the attention of thousands of commuters and instantly becoming a talking point across the city.
By choosing the Sea Link, which in itself is a symbol of modern Mumbai, the OTT giant not only managed to secured prime visibility but also aligned the contemporary thriller with a landmark that embodies urban sophistication.
It is to be noted that a rather large chunk of Jewel Thief has been filmed in Mumbai, along with Budapest and Istanbul.

While Jewel Thief made quite the buzz even before its release with its gripping trailer and its song Jaadu making it to top streaming charts. The film that released online on April 25, has received rave reviews on how it is an out and out entertainer.
Jewel Thief, which has also clinched the #1 spot on Netflix India’s top 10 watch list. It has especially received positive praise for its premium quality of cinematography and its larger-than-life scale of filmmaking.
