Viineet Kumar Siingh plays the ultimate baddie ‘Somulu’ in his next movie Jaat

Actor Viineet Kumar Siingh is UNSTOPPABLE and How! The actor kicked off 2025 to a rather fabulous start with his movie Chhaava attaining a massive hit status. This was followed by Superboys of Malegaon, which once again got the actor his due recognition.

And Viineet will follow this up with his next movie Jaat. Starring Sunny Deol in the lead role, the movie will also feature Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra in pivotal roles. The action thriller being helmed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni, is touted to have some high-octane larger-than-life action sequences. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the film will hit the theaters on April 10, 2025.

Actors Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s first looks were released and received a lot of praise. And with only a fortnight to go for the film’s release, the makers released Viineet Kumar Siingh’s first look today and we were totally blown away. The actor shared the look video and penned, “Meet ‘Somulu’ from the world of #JAAT

Viineet will be seen playing Somulu in Jaat. We never saw him in this kind of look before, it’s very appealing good, with an open shirt, sunglasses and a catchy quip for company. From earlier teasers, we already know that in this one, Viineet will be seen playing for the bad boys team, but that guarantees versatility for Viineet. And makers too confirmed this with the hashtag ‘#JaatVsSomulu’.

Viineet has been at the receiving end of a lot of applause for his roles in Chhaava where he played Kavi Kalash, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s close confidant and a valiant warrior who were neck to neck with his king, against the Mughals, and in Superboys of Malegaon, where he essayed the role of Farogh a writer who struggles and takes stand for his original ideas, story and script. And while we knew Viineet Kumar Siingh was a versatile actor, he took it to the stratosphere with both his 2025 releases.

With Jaat all set to hit the silver screens soon, Viineet will next be see working with Kabir Khan’s productions and with Anurag Kashyap again for a project that is still under the works. Looks like Viineet will most definitely have a busy 2025 and here’s hoping we get to see a lot more path-breaking performances from him.
