Urvashi Rautela is one of the most prominent celebrities in the Bollywood fraternity. The actress is rapidly climbing the ladder of success due to her hard work and dedication. The actress won Miss Diva India and went on to represent India in Miss Universe pageant in 2015.
Miss Universe and beyond
The former Miss Diva India was given the opportunity to be a judge at the Miss Universe pageant 2021, where Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu (Miss India 2021) won the title of Miss Universe. India won after 21 years, with Lara Dutta being the last Indian to be crowned Miss Universe in 2000. Following the Miss Universe pageant this year which was held in Israel, Urvashi was awarded The Symbol of Armour from the Israeli Army.
The young actress was recently appointed as a judge in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant. In a recent interview, when Rautela was asked her thoughts about judging Miss Universe 2021, she commented; “I’m truly honoured to be a part of the Miss Universe 2021 Pageant in Israel. By trusting in themselves and working to fulfil their aspirations, all these wonderful women from across the globe represent and symbolise the Organization’s principles. I can’t wait to experience this significant occasion with all of them on this great global platform. This year’s Miss Universe competition focuses on climate change, as well as other challenges confronting competitors and their nations.”
Miss Universe Judge Urvashi Rautela Becomes First-Ever Indian To Be Awarded Symbol Of The Armour from Moshe Levy
Urvashi is the first Indian to be awarded The Symbol of Armour from the Israeli army Moshe Levy! This is a huge honour. The Israeli Army have said she was the ‘toughest female Indian they ever met/ came across’. Urvashi has an uncle was the Chief of Defence Staff until his death earlier this month. She decided to take advanced training programs with the Israeli army for 2 weeks to prepare both physically and mentally for the challenge.
Recent and Upcoming work
On the work front, she will be soon seen in the Jio studios web series ‘Inspector Avinash’ opposite Randeep Hooda. The actress has a lead role in the upcoming bilingual thriller “Black Rose” and in the Hindi remake of “Thiruttu Payale 2”. Urvashi recently got a blockbuster response for her song “Doob Gaye” opposite Guru Randhawa. She will be making a Tamil debut with the 200 crores big-budget film “The Legend” opposite Saravana.
The actress has also signed a three-film contract with Jio Studios and T-Series. Urvashi has truly paved her way around the world making spectacular performances in movies and music videos. She recently featured in Egyptian superstar Mohamed Ramadan’s ‘Versace Baby‘, which already has 26 million views in just 6 months. Urvashi truly is becoming an international star.
