Some shocking news coming your way this morning. Dharma Productions, which is helmed by Karan Johar and is considered to be one of the biggest production houses of Bollywood. It has replaced one of its lead actors from their upcoming film.
Sources have confirmed that Kartik Aaryan who was all set to be a part of the hit franchise Dostana. Alongside Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya has been replaced.
Yes, you heard it right. The actor apparently was giving the production house a tough time while shooting for the film. Kartik, Janhvi and Lakshya have already shot a few scenes for the film but Dharma has decided to put an end to it.
A source close to the film was quoted by a leading newspaper saying,
“Yes, Kartik has walked out of Dostana 2 over creative differences, even after going through the script before agreeing to do the film, and then also shooting for the film for over two weeks.” Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor had started shooting for Dostana 2 in November 2019. However, the shoot was halted in March last year due to the coronavirus pandemic and the resultant lockdown.
It is yet to be revealed who will be taking on his part from now onwards.
