Akshaye Is A Treat To Watch In The New Track Ishq Ne Mara Re

Akshaye Khanna proves once again that he is one of the most versatile and skilled actors in the industry today.

Watching the new track, “Ishq Ne Mara Re” from upcoming feature, ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’, one would be hard pressed to believe that the Akshaye Khanna in this song. The same actor who delivered performances representing the genteel of our country in Section 375 and Accidental Prime Minister.

In “Ishq Ne Mara Re”, debutant Priyaank Sharma is trying to teach Akshaye’s Baba Bhandari to be a ‘cool dude’. It is a makeover song where the bahubali is being transformed into the ideal metro man of Mandira’s dreams.

Director Karan Vishwanath Kashyap said,

“This was one of the more fun songs to shoot considering the actors were having so much fun with it. It was incredible to see Akshaye fully immerse himself in this character and live up to Baba Bhandari’s nature in all its absurd glory.”

The lyrics written by Samir Anjaan are fun and boppy while being brought to life by Harshit Saxerna’s foot-tapping music. The song has been choreographed by Shabina Khan.

Producer Prachi Nitin Manmohan added,

“We were in stitches the whole time this was being made. Akshaye and Priyaank had such electric chemistry and with Karan’s direction, it was dynamite. This is the kind of fun, mid-tempo jam that people can head bang to while taking a late-night drive or singing along with their friends – it’s going to be a smash, that’s for sure.”

Sab Kushal Mangal’ marks the debut of Priyaank Sharma and Riva Kishan and also stars powerhouse comedic masters, Satish Kaushik, Rakesh Bedi and Supriya Pathak in supporting roles.

The film is a Karan Vishwanath Kashyap and Prachi Nitin Manmohan production. It is presented by Nitin Manmohan’s One Up Entertainment. Akshaye Khanna and Abhishek Jagdish Jaiswal, will release on 3rd January 2020.
