Akshay Kumar is currently busy promoting Mission Mangal which is the first space film of Bollywood. After Mission Mangal, Akshay has many projects on his plate one of which is Sooryavanshi.
Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar is the fourth cop film of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The film was going to clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah but the clash is avoided and Akshay is glad.
Both Inshallah and Sooryavanshi were initially going to release on EID 2020. Considering that the clash would affect the box office collection of both the films, Rohit Shetty changed the release date of his cop drama.
In a recent interview, when Akshay was asked if he is happy that they could avoid the clash he said he is obviously glad to avoid the clash.
But the actor also says that there are about 210 Bollywood films that release every year. There are only 52 weeks in one year so such thing and clash are ought to happen.
Sooryavanshi also stars Katrina Kaif playing the love interest to Akshay Kumar in which Akki plays the role of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi.
Inshallah will see Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan collaborating for the first time. It is also a reunion of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan after a very long time.
Akshay Kumar also has Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, Laxmmi Bomb, Bachchan Pandey and Good News releasing till next year-end.
Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal is going to release on 15th August.
