4. Shabana Khan in Naam Shabana and Baby:

Shabana Khan a college student who is also a Kūdō fighter is being followed by Indian agency as a potential recruit. Later Shabana joins a secret agency. Taapse proved that she is her to stay and do all varied roles.

 

5. Advocate Aarti Mohammed in Mulk:

The film relates the story of a Muslim family trying to reclaim its lost honor after a family member whom they accuse as a terrorist. Taapsee played the role of a lawyer who fights with the society for her father-in-law played by Rishi Kapoor.

 

6. Minal Arora in Pink:

It is a story about three young women in a crime and how a retired lawyer steps forward to help them clear their names. Taapsee got name and more fame since this movie. The film received widespread critical acclaim, and garnered the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.
