Simi Garewal is all set to make a comeback with her show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. And guess who the first guest on this show is? It’s none other than Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will reportedly be the first guests on the comeback chat show of veteran actress and host Simi Garewal.
Ever since Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot, fans have been eagerly waiting to see the two together onscreen.
Talking about the show, the veteran actress had said that there won’t be any change in format and she would not include gossip and games. She said that people resort to such games because they cannot make a conversation. The actress said that Rendezvous was always getting to know the person.
Talking about the guest, the host said that Deepika and Ranveer had promised their first interview together will be on her show.
Well, let’s hope that it happens so.
Deepika and Ranveer are coming together onscreen in Kabir Khan’s ’83 as well. Deepika just last month had completed the shoot of Chhapaak in which she is debuting as a producer. Ranveer is currently working on ’83.
Coming back to the show, for those who don’t know, Rendezvous With Simi Garewalfirst aired in 1997. It ran for five seasons. It featured celebrities such as Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, the Bachchans, Rekha, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Maharani Gayatri Devi, Benazir Bhutto and Ratan Tata with Simi as host in her signature white suit.
