Today as Ranveer Singh rings his 34th birthday we at UrbanAsian take a look at some of his most memorable performances:

Band Baaja Baaraat (2010)

In this 2010 rom-com co-starring Anushka Sharma, Bollywood got a new heartthrob. He made us fall in love with goody two shoes Delhi da munda Bittu. And there was no stopping him thereafter.

Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl (2011)

In this 2011 romantic comedy – opposite Anushka yet again – we got to see many different avatars of Ranveer. In spite of playing a con master on screen who tricks girls, Ranveer still made his way deeper in our hearts.

Lootera (2013)

In this period romance film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Ranveer once again played a con-man who in the end had a change of heart. His on-screen chemistry with Sonakshi Sinha made us gus all over him.

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013)

His first collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the start of some amazing films by this duo. The actor made us feel the pain, the anguish as well as the love and betrayal with his stellar performance as Ram.

Dil Dhadakne Do (2015)

Kabir a.k.a. Ranveer played Anil Kapoor’s son in this Zoya Akhtar dysfunctional family drama. His rapport with Priyanka Chopra (his sister here), Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar was amazing!

Bajirao Mastani (2015)

In this historical romance directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ranveer played Maratha Peshwa Bajirao. His performance as a Maratha warrior who faces betrayal at the hands of his mother and brother is truly heart touching.

Padmaavat (2018)

As Sultan Alauddin Khilji, Ranveer Singh outshined Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. His villainous behavior, ego, anger, appearance, and performance took us back to the bygone years. However scary he was on screen – WE LOVED HIM!

Simmba (2018)

Inspector Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba is the best police officer. He will make you laugh and cry both at the same time. No one besides Ranveer could have played this character so well. The actor has put his soul in Simmba.

Gully Boy (2019)

Murad Ahmed a.k.a. Gully Boy played by Ranveer is totally opposite what Ranveer is in his real life. Murad is a quite and not much confident person. Ranveer’s performance as Murad just blew our mind. We never felt that Murad was Ranveer Singh.
