Kamal Hassan Celebrates Children’s Day With Less Fortunate

Children’s day celebrations of MNM party President Kamal Haasan at the Little Flower School for the Hearing Impaired, Speech impaired and visually impaired children.

More than 500 differently abled students participated in the Children’s Day Celebrations today. Cultural performances of the children were organized. The students wished Mr. Kamal Haasan for his birthday by singing a special song for him.
Shakti, a visually impaired student, requested Mr. Kamal Haasan’s help in procuring a computer and printer that enables them to print books in braille.
Following the cultural performances, Kamal Haasan distributed sweets and fruits to the children and interacted with them.

While interacting with the kids, he said, “I am an ex-student of this school, I learned Braille and sign language here. Your rendition of my song gives me a great amount of encouragement. Just like you, people of Thamizh Nadu are saying ‘unnal mudiyum thambi’ everywhere I go. Selvi Shakthi has requested for certain equipment, I understand that they have to be procured from Mumbai, I will ensure it reaches you. They sang a song expressing their wishes for my birthday. They are the future. They will witness more tomorrows than me, I’m sure their wishes will increase my lifespan as well. Thank you.”
