A reporter said that his Son-In-Law said that Anil Kapoor is the handsome man he know, to this Anil Kapoor said:

“No no no. It’s you know. I don’t know what to say. I have no words. But I’m so happy that he says that. But obviously. I feel he’s the most handsomest. This is what I like about him. He is very understated. You know. Very good. There’s no effort.”

When asked Anil whether did he modify his character or give a newness to the character he plays in Fanney Khan, he said:

“Yeah! I have to. I have a different kind of personality as in a different way. Every actor has a different kind of way of doing the character. So I had to do some changes.”

When asked to the actor about how he co-relates with the character he plays in Fanney Khan, he said:

“I can relate to many things from this character. Firstly the period where he struggles a lot. Before my daughter was born, I could relate because from 1977 or 1978 when I thought of stepping in this industry, my father had heart problem so I was shaken but had made a mind that I have to start working. I think I did one year of college and in second year college I started searching for job. That struggle from the age of 18 till I got name, I guess in Woh 7 Din, I could relate through all that. The emotion and everything I could actually feel. The places where we shot this film, I have been to all those places during my struggle. So all this helped me to relate more with the character.”

He added:

“Then coming to the situation where the equation between me and my daughter. I remember she would tell that Dad I am changing. I could hear her saying to her mum, about she being harassed because of body shaming. She used to share it with her mom. So I could relate with that as well.”
