At the just-concluded press conference of Disney Pixar’s Incredibles 2, Kajol spoke about dubbing, choosing scripts and more.
The Bollywood actress has dubbed Helen Parr in the Hindi version of the animated superhero movie. When asked about her experience dubbing, here’s what she said,
“Dubbing is a very normal process. But I don’t even like dubbing for my own self.”
She continued,
“Dubbing is one of the most painful and boring processes ever. It’s bad enough when you are dubbing for yourself, but dubbing for someone else is worse.”
Talking about dubbing for Elastigirl, she said,
“But the point is, the whole idea of dubbing for Elastigirl is what was exciting. Being a part of this film is like having a super power.”
When asked about the basis on which she chooses a script she said that the script has to be like a book you stay up reading till 4 even when you know you have to get up for work at 7.
Kajol who is all set to play a singer in Eela admitted that she and her family are a movie-loving family. She said that they have spent more time watching movies together than sitting at the table.
At the event, two special promos of Kajol promoting the film were also released.
