Teri Thodi Featuring Master Rakesh is Fusion at its Best!

Following the success of their latest release Lak Patla, talented music making duo Gaurav Kapur and Roshan Singh are back as OMG Music with their fifth single; Teri Thodi ft Master Rakesh

Teri Thodi should be considered an art form and not just ‘music’, the smooth transition between genre’s is pleasing to the ear. The song channels a Qwwaali sound in the mist of traditional Punjabi lyrics. The duo aim to challenge themselves musically. The OMG Music duo constantly push the envelope and experimenting with different styles and genres when it comes to their music. It’s often said that if something don’t fix it, but the duo proved us wrong by adding the harmonious Harmonium a purely Punjabi lyrics. Combined with the magnificent sound of a Tabla, I was expecting something Sufi-like. The Sufi sound compliments the lyrics extremely well, and that to me was a wonderful surprise.

After four successful releases, their unique sound caught the attention of Times Music India. They immediately decided that this track would have great potential in both the Indian & Worldwide Market. After relatively short discussions, Times Music India has set the release date to 22nd March 2018.

Gaurav & Roshan are very excited over the prospect of their music being released into the Indian & Worldwide market through a renowned record label like Times Music India.This has laid down one more stepping stone towards their goal, bringing them closer to their dreams. The passion that the duo shares for music is captivating. Staying true to their passion, and undeterred, the two are sure to create waves in the coming years with a dream of producing/scoring music for Indian Cinema.
