Has Aamir Khan Repalced Akshay Kumar In Mogul?

Not even a year ago, Akshay Kumar was announced as the lead actor of T-Series’ Mogul. Mogul is biopic on music maestro and founder of T-Series, late Gulshan Kumar.

Akshay had confirmed his association with the film on Twitter. He had tweeted:

“My association with Him began with my very first film. He was The Emperor of Music. Now know His story… #Mogul, The Gulshan Kumar story!”

But now, if reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan has most likely replaced Akshay.

Speculations were doing rounds that Akshay has quit the project and reportedly returned the signing amount to the makers. When quizzed about it, Akshay reacted saying that he’s the face of the project and it hasn’t gone on floors. He called these reports rumors.

A leading daily quoted a source as saying:

“Aamir will produce this biopic, which itself is an important development. Whether he will play the lead is not yet decided. No other details are known as of now.”

But now reports suggest that not just production but Aamir will step into Akshay’s shoes too.

On the work front, Aamir Khan is currently busy shooting Thugs Of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Sana Fatima Sheikh. While Akshay Kumar is awaiting the release of his next flick Padman.
