Sharib Toshi went against Virat Kohli; comes out in defense of his sister, but was he really right?

3-year-old Haya’s video went viral some time back. A mother beat up her child (Haya), who happens to be Hindi singer Sharib Toshi’s niece.

When contacted, Sharib came out in defence of his sister (obviously), and criticized fieldsmen Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan for their interference in a personal matter.

Sharib quoted:

Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan don’t know about us. Hamare bachche ke bare mein humein pata hai naah ki hamara bacha kaisa hai! Uska nature hai waisa… Agle hi pal woh khelne chali jaati hai. Agar aap usko chod do toh woh kahengi main mazzak kar rahi thi. Uske nature ki wajah se chod denge toh woh padai bhi nahi kar paayengi.”

He further went on to add that they had no clue how the video went viral. It was basically sent on their family WhatsApp group so that Haya’s father knew how stubborn the kid has become.

“Woh video ek maa ka video hai, apne bhai aur husband ko dikhaane ke liye banaya tha, ki bachchi bahut zyada ziddi ho gayi hai.”

“In every house, there are different kinds of children. Ours is a very stubborn child but is extremely dear to us,” Sharib added further.

“Jab baaki logon ko bura lag raha hai toh woh to maa hai. Ek maa ki mamta hai, judgement nahi kar sakte hain. Jisne usko 9 mahine kokh mein rakha hai,” he argued.

TBH, this kid is just a 3-year-old, and the mom just proves about how much competition has affected all our lives. If a 3-year-old isn’t even allowed to play by her will, and is tortured in such a way that she cries so much she is scared, are our own parents really safe for children?

Do you think Sharib justified himself enough, or was it just to protect his overly-insensitive family?
