Upcoming 2017 feature-film Sameer has been preponed and will now release one week ahead of schedule. The political thriller was originally planned to release on September 15, but is now going to be releasing on September 8th.
Sameer is a story about a young, innocent Muslim engineering student who is taken into custody by the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS). The ATS forces him to comply in assisting their search for his roomate, Yasin, the mastermind behind the Hyderabad and Bengaluru blasts. Will they be able to suceed in the mission before Yasin strikes again in Ahmadabad?
Award-winning documentary maker, Dakxin Chhara, is the director of film. Zeeshan Ayyub, Anjali Patil, Subrat Dutta, Seema Biswas and Chinmay Mandlekar are casted as lead roles.
