Richa Chadha has proven every time that she is definitely one of the boss ladies of Bollywood when it comes to bother her on and off screen persona. She has given us a variety of memorable on-screen roles. Recently she started a new venture in the entertainment business with her first ever production in form of a short film which was appreciated widely, right from the film fraternity to all the audience. In one for her upcoming projects with Amazon Prime which is also their maiden India production, she is going to be playing a character of a successful actress who also owns a cricket team.
For this particular character, she took inspiration from real life boss ladies like Ellen DeGeneres, Tina Fey, Amy Pohler and Amy Schumer who are all known to be the kind of women, who have broken cliches and been someone who has made their own choices. These very women aren’t just actors but are also writers, producers, who make their own content and basically own their presence the industry.
When asked Richa, she said,
“I think women have a great capacity to multi-task. I seek out women that have been successful in their respective fields and who encourage other women to get ahead. These inspiring women go beyond what everyone thinks they must do, and break cliches by using all their talents – writing, producing, acting.”
