Bollywood Star Jonita Gandhi To Headline Bollywood Monster Mashup 2017

Canada’s largest South Asian festival, #BollywoodMonster Mashup presented by TD is pleased to announce Bollywood talent, Jonita Gandhi, brought to you by Telus as the festival’s Saturday night headliner.

The Mumbai-based singer is coming back home to take Mississauga’s Celebration Square by storm on July 22nd as part of the festival’s massive, free concert. Her latest hit, The Breakup Song from the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ featuring Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor, is the hit song of the summer. The electrifying dance number won the singer a Mirchi Music Award in Feb 2017 and is still dominating the charts with a nomination at IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Awards) July 15, 2017. As Canadian homegrown talent, she made her singing debut in 2013 with composer A.R. Rahman of Slumdog Millionaire fame and her Bollywood debut in the title track of the 2013 hit film Chennai Express starring mega stars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Taking place July 20th 6pm at C Banquets in Mississauga, attendees get the exciting opportunity to meet all three Bollywood stars at #BollywoodMonster Mashup’s annual behind-the-scenes party before they hit the main stage at Celebration Square.
