There are a few filmmakers who just cannot sit idle. As the month long run of ‘Bhanwarey’, directorial debut of Shaurya Singh, was ended by the magnum opus ‘Bahubali’, Shaurya is already working on his next two films which he plans to direct, produce and release within 2017 under his banner Sudha Creations.
When talked to Shaurya he said:
“Bhanwarey was like a practice match and it took 2 years to make that film but now as I have got my own circle in place, it won’t be difficult to churn out forthcoming films. It’s too much of a creative and technical process and knowing it and getting used to things takes time but it eventually happens.”
The talented writer/director is reportedly busy with pre-production of ‘Stupor’ a science fiction genre film in English language. While sci-fi genre is rare in Bollywood and most of the newbies are opting for realistic films, it is quiet intimidating to see what this one film old has in store for the audiences. And as the film is in English language, Shaurya has the target audience in mind and will unfold eventually.
Next film as he told us is called ‘Crime Inc.’ and currently he is meeting well known actors for narration sessions. ‘Crime Inc.’ is again a different comedy which has not been tried in Bollywood before, as he stated. We can count on the statement after seeing ‘Bhanwarey’ that was on a different and rather weird topic of Premature Ejaculation.
As ‘Stupor’ goes on-floors this month of May, we can just wish him all the best and pray for some great viewing experiences.
