Karan Wahi's Highly Motivating Facebook Post Goes Viral!

We know that actors are an intelligent because of the careful thoughts they put into making their characters believable. But when the camera goes off, we also think that they are vain, narcissistic and all about spending the living hours in the gym! But actor Karan Wahi has put the latter part of our thoughts to rest. The very successful actor, who has covered all bases of the media industry, from Television to Bollywood and advertisements, recently posted a status on Facebook which went viral. When we read what he posted, we were quite enamored by the quality of the young actors thought. Here is what he wrote. Read on, it’s quite motivating and based in truth.

“So this might be a long preachy kinda testimonial that I am writing, so if you have some time on you, maybe a few minutes then you can read on. Sometimes I wonder what we are, what we wanna be and what we have become.I grew up seeing my parents working, making money, fulfilling my never ending needs, I basically working for all the basic necessity that every person does.

As I grew up the wants went on increasing and all I saw, was that everyone elder to me around me was working and trying to make more and more money. Today its almost 13 years that I have been doing the same, but after all these years of trying to make the perfect salary, the perfect home, the perfect car, basically the perfect me, I stumbled upon a question.

WHAT IS PERFECT? ( if there is any)

And I realized that may be the perfect me or the perfect situation doesn’t exist.

13 Years back I made peanuts, and I told myself that if I would make 5 times more, life would be the best. I would be able to spend more, save more, live in a grand way blah blah blah blah…

Today I make around 50 times more than what I made 13 years back, but still, somewhere all that had I thought did not happen.

THE SENSE OF HAPPINESS was still missing.

SO I SAT DOWN MYSELF AND ASKED A QUESTION WHICH A LOT OF US DONT.

THE QUESTION WAS WHY?

And instantly I got my answer…..

All of us, unfortunately, live a life where everything has been distributed into time zones or age brackets

0 to 5 GET SPOILT CAUSE YOU ARE AN INFANT

5-10 UR STILL A CHILD SO PLAY

10-18 STUDY HARD otherwise what will you do in life

18-24 complete your higher education otherwise how will we find a suitable groom OR BRIDE or how will you make money in life

24-30 get married/start working/make the big bucks

AND ONCE U-TURN 30 WELL THE LIFE CYCLE STARTS AGAIN

We forget that just because we reach an age doesn’t mean we can’t do things or live a different life.

We have got so used to working to make ends meet or to make more and more money that we actually forgot why in the first place we wanted to do what we are doing.

I am not saying working for money is bad, it isn’t and all of us should at the end of the day work nor do something.

But I am sure it would be more fun if something we do that gave us money would give us a lot more happiness too.

I am writing this for people, not just my age but people who are seniors and for everyone who’s probably my parent’s age too.

I see older people even today working super hard to make more and more money to make life great for the next generation, but somewhere they forgot the reason they started working, their dreams, their aspirations, their wants.

I just hope my generation doesn’t do the same, though it looks like we will.

A bigger house to stay, A BETTER car to drive, A luxurious brand to wear, yet somehow everyone eats the same thing. So if the thing that keeps you alive called FOOD stayed the same, why everything around went bizzerk.

SO I THOUGHT WHAT CAN WE DO?

I have promised myself one thing because of which i wrote this , and the promise is that no matter how much money I make or I don’t make, my first priority in life will be to stay happy, because there is nothing like HAPPINESS ( and I am not talking about materialistic happiness)

When I grow up I would be happier with a million memories that I would make because the million BUCKS I would make wouldn’t be of use to me, other than paying bills.

If you have parents at home or if you are one and you have worked all your life to give your children a better tomorrow I request you to enjoy your life now. Give yourself a better today cause we can worry about the tomorrow when it comes.

I feel “WORRIES THAT WE HAVE FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING ARE LIKE THE INTEREST THAT COMES WITH THE PRINCIPLE ON LOANS’

Saving for the future is great, working also is great but living your life just to work isn’t.

DONT JUST MAKE A LIVING IN LIFE

MAKE A LIFE WORTH LIVING

The philosophy WORK hard, PLAY harder isn’t just for kids; it’s for anyone and every one of all ages.

So this one’s for all you guys out there who still think if they take a holiday their work might suffer, all those people who say once I reach a certain level I will do this and that.

Just do it today if you can, you never know there might not be a tomorrow.

SAVE A BIT, SPEND ON YOURSELF, DO THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SMILE, TRY OUT SOMETHING NEW, DONT BE SCARED TO FAIL.

WILL SMITH once said “I WISH EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD WOULD BE RICH AND FAMOUS, SO THAT THEY REALISE, and ITS NOT THE ANSWER”

Only someone who’s reached there would know that and that’s what we need to think of.

BE CONTENT, we can try…. it won’t cost much

These things have started making sense to me and IF this made sense to you try to look at life in a different way. You might not get anything materialistic in return but you will surely get more out of things you already have.

Spread the word if you believe in this

THANK YOU”. (sic)
