Abhishek Pathak : Guest Iin London Is Not A Sequel To Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge

‘Guest iin London’ is a rom-com drama starring Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aaryan , Kriti Kharbanda and Tanvi Azmi.

 

Panorama Studios & Kiaan Entertainment Ltd. (UK) along with director Ashwni Dhir felt that this new title is more appropriate for the film. This change was also made due to the misconceived public perception of this film being thought of as a sequel to the 2010 film – ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?’ which starred Ajay Devgn and Konkona Sen along with Paresh Rawal, which is not the case.

 

Rubbishing all claims that state ‘Guest Iin London’ is a sequel, producer Abhishek Pathak said:

 

“Guest iin London is not a sequel to Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, it’s a different film with a different story and different characters”.

 

Moreover, Kumar Mangat Pathak said:

“We are in discussion to make the sequel of ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?’ with Warner Bros. Pictures, who own the rights to the original and the sequel.”

 

Mohan Nadaar [Director of Kiaan Entertainment Ltd. (UK)] added:

“‘Guest Iin London’ is a completely different film altogether. Panorama Studios is already in discussion with Warner Bros. Pictures for the sequel and Kiaan Entertainment will not be a part of that film.”

 

‘Guest Iin London’ is a film that deals with an odd old couple from rural India who lands up uninvited as guests in a suburban London home of a young couple. What follows is a series of misadventures one after the other turning the young couple’s lives upside down. The film has been entirely shot in the beautiful locales of London and New York.

 

The film releases on 16th June 2017.
