Aishwarya celebrated her 38th birthday last Tuesday. While being significantly older than the average Bollywood actress, she seems to still wow people with her incredible acting, stunning looks, and charming grace.
Now that she has hit the big 38, and is pregnant, people question how long she will last in the industry. Numerous actresses slow down, or even give up their Bollywood careers after getting married and becoming mothers. It doesn’t help her being in an industry where 30 is often considered to old for an actress.
But Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an exception. Bolting into the international scene very rapidly, Aish won the Miss World title in 1994. Even though many other Indian beauties, such as Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta, have done the same by winning similar titles, none have been able to even compare to Rai as the “most beautiful woman in the world.” Being fluent in five languages- Hindi-Urdu, English, Tamil, Bengali, and Telugu- she has proven her versatility in various types of films. She has been one of the very few Bollywood actresses with success in Hollywood films, such as Bride & Prejudice.
