After last week’s big announcement by Amitabh Bachchan over twitter
“ NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!” the Bachchan’s had much to celebrate over.
However, director Madhur Bhandarkar’s dreams have come crashing down with the news of Ash’s pregnancy. Bhandarkar known for his controversial films such as Fashion, Traffic Signal, Jail, Page 3 and Corporate, was ready to shoot his film Heroine with Aishwarya Rai. The role requires Aishwarya to smoke, dance, and drink, which are all normally not advised to pregnant women.
Bhandarkar for the time being has decided to shelve the production until further notice. Other film makers too have also decided to place their films on hold until Aishwarya delivers Baby Bachchan. For example, Raj Kumar Santoshi has put Ladies and Gentlemen on hold. Looks like motherhood comes with a price tag attached to it after all… well, at least for a Heroine!
