Karan Johar is down with Malaria and this doesn’t make the director-producer-television chat host, happy. KJo was seen on the sets of Koffee with Karan Season 3 shivering in the Mumbai heat. In fact, as soon as he wrapped up his shoot, he ran home to bed and hasn’t left since! So sick is Karan that he even missed the best buddy, Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday bash in Berlin. The director has been confined to his bed until further notice from his doctor. And all because of his illness, KJo has had to miss the release of My Name is Khan in Rome. A clearly upset Karan Johar went on to say,
“I am really upset that I couldn’t be in Rome. MNIK is truly the most special film of my career and I believe it is SRK’s finest performance. Walking the red carpet with him on such a prestigious platform would have made an indelible memory. Also, I have never missed SRK’s birthday in all these years, so it’s a double disappointment.”
On the flip side, Koffee with Karan will begin this Sunday, November 7th. The first episode will feature real-life couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Needless to say, this is one to watch out for! In the meantime, get well soon Karan!
