K-rock powerhouse CNBLUE (Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, and Lee Jung-shin) have given fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of their highly anticipated third full-length album, 3LOGY, further fueling excitement around their long-awaited comeback.

On January 15, FNC Entertainment officially released a behind-the-scenes video and photos from CNBLUE’s ‘3LOGY’ concept photo shoot via the group’s social media channels. The reveal offers an intimate glimpse into the creative vision behind the album and highlights the band’s evolving artistry after years of musical growth.

Two Concepts, One Powerful Narrative

The concept shoot was divided into two striking themes, each designed to showcase a different side of CNBLUE’s identity.

The first concept embraces the image of musical pioneers, evoking the spirit of buskers spreading sound into an empty, desolate world. Drummer Kang Min-hyuk explained that the idea symbolizes CNBLUE’s ambition to let their music travel far and wide. He noted that special attention was paid to symbolic props, including a speaker-shaped tree, reinforcing the message of sound and growth through music.

The second shoot leaned into a bold rock star aesthetic, capturing the band’s maturity and cohesion. Bassist Lee Jung-shin shared that the photos were taken against a triangular structure, directly representing the album title 3LOGY and the three members forming strong creative axes. Frontman Jung Yong-hwa added that this concept reflects a more refined and confident CNBLUE, describing it as an expression of the “rocker within,” and expressed confidence that fans would deeply connect with the visuals.

A Long-Awaited Album, Crafted With Care

Released just days ago, 3LOGY marks CNBLUE’s first full-length album in several years and carries deep significance for both the band and their fans. The members emphasized that every track was crafted with intention, featuring self-composed songs that reflect their personal growth and musical direction.

The title track, “Killer Joy,” has already emerged as a fan favorite. Described by the band as a song that instantly conjures the energy of a live concert, it captures CNBLUE’s signature sound and stage presence. The group shared their hope that listeners would feel the same excitement and joy they experienced while creating the album.

Chart-Topping Success Worldwide

CNBLUE’s comeback has been met with immediate global success. Upon release, 3LOGY soared to the Top 3 on iTunes Top Albums, Pop Albums, and K-Pop Albums charts across seven regions, while also claiming the No. 1 spot on the Circle Chart Retail Album Chart in Korea.

“Killer Joy” further solidified the band’s international influence by entering the Billboard LyricFind Global Chart at No. 13 in January. The music video has also been performing strongly, consistently ranking high on Korean YouTube’s Daily Popular Music Videos, proving CNBLUE’s enduring global appeal.

Seoul Concerts and New Live Stages Ahead

As momentum continues to build, CNBLUE are set to meet fans in person at their upcoming Seoul solo concerts on January 17 and 18, 2026, titled 2026 CNBLUE LIVE ‘3LOGY’ : Thrillology. The shows will feature live performances of new tracks, offering fans their first chance to experience the album’s energy on stage.

With 3LOGY, CNBLUE not only reaffirm their place in the global K-rock scene but also demonstrate artistic depth, unity, and evolution. As fans around the world continue to celebrate the release, it’s clear that this chapter marks a powerful new era for the band.
