After a thunderous Day 1 opening, Border 2 witnessed a solid upward surge on Day 2, reinforcing its commanding presence at the box office with a whooping ₹40.59 CR NBOC, bringing the total box office collection to ₹ 72.69 CR NOC as of just two days. On its second day, the film recorded a notable rise, clearly indicating growing word-of-mouth and the beginning of a blockbuster Republic Day weekend. Defying the odds of being released on a non-holiday, Border 2 has performed consistently well across metros and smaller centres, with distributors being optimistic about a further escalation on Sunday and Monday owing to the long weekend for Republic Day.
