Aamir Khan Productions, one of the leading entertainment banners in the industry, is all set to bring a magical love story to the big screen with Ek Din. The film pairs Junaid Khan with Sai Pallavi, who makes her much-awaited Hindi film debut with this project. Recently, the makers unveiled the teaser, and it feels nothing short of a warm hug, offering a glimpse into a gentle, magical tale of love and romance.
The teaser beautifully captures the charming chemistry between Sai Pallavi, who looks effortlessly stunning, and Junaid Khan, who shines as the endearing, awkward lover boy. Speaking about the film in a recent interview, Aamir Khan opened up about Ek Din and its genre, revealing his fondness for mushy romance and describing the film as exactly that kind of film.
Talking about Ek Din, Aamir shared, “Well, it’s a kind of a, it’s a pure romantic film, a very classic kind of romance genre and it’s the kind of romance that I like, as an audience, I’m a real sucker for mushy romantic films. I love mushy romance, so it’s that classic, slightly magical love story, you know.
Aamir also spoke about the lead cast performance, adding, “I think that I loved the script when I heard it for the first time. I’m so glad that you know we finally went with Sai, she’s such a good actor, such a good actor, and she’s done an amazing job, I think Junaid also has done really well. I mean, he’s my son, so I’d rather not talk much about him, but I think both of them have done well. The director has made a wonderful film, and we’re looking forward to it releasing on the 1st of May.”
Ek Din sees Aamir Khan reuniting with filmmaker Mansoor Khan after a long hiatus, a collaboration that has already sparked immense excitement.
