Korean alternative pop-rock band Catch The Young electrified audiences at the 2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, delivering a high-octane performance that cemented their reputation as one of K-Rock’s fastest-rising live acts.
The band, known for their “Youth Pop-Rock” sound, returned for their second consecutive year at Korea’s biggest rock festival, proving once again that their raw energy, tight musicianship, and heartfelt lyrics resonate deeply with fans.
A Powerful Start to Korea’s Biggest Rock Festival
Held from August 1–3, 2025, at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, South Korea, the festival drew thousands of music lovers from around the globe. Catch The Young performed on opening day, kicking off their set with their latest single, “Ideal Type” — a perfect blend of retro-inspired rock riffs and playful synth melodies.
Fans immediately joined in with thunderous applause and sing-alongs, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Songs like “My Own Way” and “Talking To Myself” showcased the band’s emotional depth and versatility, while “Dream It” and “The Legend” brought their narrative-driven style to life.
A Setlist That Connected with Fans
One of the night’s highlights was the band’s spirited cover of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now”, reimagined with Catch The Young’s unique flair. The crowd’s energy reached its peak before the band closed with their debut anthem “YOUTH!!!”, a song that has become a rallying cry for their growing fanbase.

Following their standout Pentaport appearance, Catch The Young is set to perform at the Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival (JUMF) later this month and the Sound Planet Festival in September.
