The dynamic group—Kiho, Theo, Jiwoong, Intak, Soul, and Jongseop—returns today, showcasing their distinct flair in SAD SONG. At 1 PM, fans can dive into the title track’s music video and the entire album on major music platforms. With its vibrant colors and themes, SAD SONG solidifies P1Harmony’s status as global trendsetters, especially following their impressive entry on the Billboard main chart and a successful world tour.
1. Title Track ‘SAD SONG’: A Unique Hero Transformation
In this new mini album, P1Harmony takes on the role of extraordinary heroes, delivering a fresh wave of positive energy. The title track, also named SAD SONG, features a hip-hop style infused with a flowing Latin rhythm, showcasing the members’ captivating voices. As they portray trendy heroes in a world of peace, they break conventions by exploring themes of emptiness and loneliness in a compelling and original way.
2. ‘Piwon Harmony Music’: A Collaborative Masterpiece
The album’s uniqueness is amplified by the members’ active involvement. Kiho contributed from the concept planning stage and co-composed “It’s Alright.” Intak and Jongseop were instrumental in writing and composing the unit track “WASP,” along with contributions to all songs on the album. Jiwoong participated in six tracks, and Intak also shared insights on the performances. This collaborative spirit ensures that the album is infused with P1Harmony’s distinct musical identity.
3. Immersive Worldview: A Heroic Narrative
Leading up to their comeback, P1Harmony enhanced their album’s narrative with engaging promotional content reminiscent of superhero films. They held a fan meeting at CGV Yeongdeungpo Theater 5 and shared behind-the-scenes stories from the album’s preparation. The members described this project as a new challenge that allowed them to showcase each other’s unique charms. Fans were treated to a surprise pre-release of the stage for “SAD SONG,” highlighting the hard work put into their performances even during overseas tours.
With the release of their Japanese best album and the successful completion of the Jeff Tour, SAD SONG includes an English version of the title track, marking their exciting global expansion.
As P1Harmony officially releases their 7th mini album SAD SONG today at 1 PM, they will kick off their comeback activities with a live performance of the title track on KBS2’s Music Bank.
