It’s definitely time to rejoice for Marathi cinema enthusiasts! The legendary Sachin Pilgaonkar is bringing us a sequel to his blockbuster Marathi comedy ‘Navra Maaza Navsaacha ‘ which released 19 years ago. Sachin Pilgaonkar, whose name is synonymous with versatility in Indian entertainment with more than 200 films as an actor in his glorious repertoire and 23 films as a director , has given us some of the best entertainers on screen in Hindi and Marathi.
Given the iconic status of the film ‘Navra Maza Navsaacha ‘, audiences have long demanded a sequel and the release date announcement of part 2 has created a lot of buzz .
Sachin shared his excitement, saying,
” ‘Navra Maaza Navsaacha‘ holds a special place in my heart, and to see the overwhelming love and anticipation from our fans has been incredibly humbling. We have poured our hearts into the sequel , and I am confident that this family entertainer will also be loved by our loyal audience, who have always been so supportive of me and my films .”
Produced and directed by Sachin , ‘Navra Maza Navsaacha 2 ‘ also stars the supremely talented Supriya Pilgaonkar and Ashok Saraf who have collaborated with Sachin on most of his films. Fans have gone wild with anticipation for the entertainment this sequel promises.
Recently, Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, along with Ashok Saraf, revealed the film’s release date with a holy visit to Siddhivinayak Temple followed by a vada-pav retreat!
The film also stars Swapnil Joshi, Hemal Ingle, and Siddharth Jadhav in prominent roles . The film is all set to hit the silver screen on 20th September 2024.
