The new Telugu series debuted on ZEE5 Global, starring Naga Babu and Nivetha Pethuraj in lead roles, as they embark on a journey to elope and then to escape as killers.
Babu and Pethuraj’s characters first elope as they fall in love, yet are not allowed to be together due to caste differences and familial pressure. However, once they elope, they’re still being hunted by police, and end up murdering one of the cops on their trail in order to escape. The series then begs the question of whether the couple will be able to escape not only their families, but also law enforcement.
While ZEE5 Global has brought several thriller drama series’ to thier platform, ‘Paravu’ is unique in its various twist and turns the story takes as the audience tries to decide if they’re siding with the couple, their families or the police. One almost has a moral dilemma as every character is flawed in their own ways, and viewers have to decode each interaction and scene to comb through their own moral arguments.
