Actor Rowoon ‘s colorful hanbok styling in KBS2’s ‘ Wedding Battle ‘ becomes a hot topic

Rowoon is currently playing the role of Sim Jeong-woo, the main character in KBS2’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘ Wedding Battle ‘ . Sim Jeong-woo dreamed of becoming a nobleman , but he caught the eye of the princess and became a Cheongsang sire . Afterwards, he spent a long time at Gyeongwoonjae and developed an old-fashioned personality , but as he fell in love with Soon-deok ( played by Jo Yi-hyeon ) , his perspective on the world gradually changed .

Jungwoo, who goes through such a variety of situations, not only changes his personality but also shows various changes in his styling, making it more fun to watch . Rowoon, who plays this role, wears hanbok of various colors and styles depending on the situation , such as wedding , bangbangrye , and light pink danryeong , and also stylishly wears accessories such as hat and pungjam, making the character of Shim Jeong-woo stand out even more.

 

Regarding this, costume director Jo Sang-kyung explained, 

 

“ Sim Jeong-woo’s long-sleeved durumagi was emphasized to show the upright expression of Sim Jeong-woo’s character, ” and added, “After investigating the attire for each situation, we also made him wear an official uniform of the color appropriate for his rank. ” The costume production process was introduced . Also, regarding the hat worn by Rowoon, which became a hot topic on social media , he expressed his pride, saying, “ I used the work of actual craftsmen . ”

The reason Rowoon’s hanbok styling attracts attention is not only because of historical research, but also because delicate efforts were made to reflect Rowoon’s physical appearance , visuals, and the times . Rowoon perfectly wore various styles of hanbok with his tall physique and neat visuals , and also showed the dignity of Gyeongwoonjae . In particular , he blended into the character by changing his facial expression depending on the situation , such as a serious expression when wearing a wedding dress and a bright smile when he began to fall in love with Sundeok . Additionally, Rowoon said , “ I heard that you didn’t turn a blind eye during the period that was the setting for ‘ The Wedding Battle . ’ “So, even when filming, he tried to act without holding back,” he said, showing his passion and sparing no efforts to reflect the times at the time .
