Sana Saeed marked the 23rd anniversary of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” with a sweet Instagram post for co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The film, directed by Karan Johar, also starred Kajol and Rani Mukerji.
Sana wrote, Thank you. I’ve said thank you thousands of times in my life. Most of the time I mean it to some degree. There are times when I’ve said it and felt the gratitude behind the words wholeheartedly, but I don’t think I ever understood what those two words truly meant until this very moment. Now I think I need a new phrase because thank you is insufficient in this situation. Like they said it @karanjohar @dharmamovies ‘It’s not a movie, it’s an emotion.’ I’ve felt that more than a few thousand times.#celebratingyoukid #23yearsofkuchkuchhotahai #KimHolden.”
Sana Saeed played the role of Anjali, the young daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherji’s characters. The film was her debut role as a child artist, and one that launched her career. In 2012, Sana returned to Dharma Productions in the supporting role of Tanya Israni in Karan Johar’s “Student of the Year”, starring Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan in lead roles.
