Khuda Haafiz trailer out now on Disney+ Hotstar

After weeks of anticipation, Disney+ Hotstar today released the much-awaited trailer of Bollywood movie Khuda Haafiz.

The romantic action thriller inspired by true events is directed and written by Faruk Kabir and stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi. The movie’s scenes take place in Uzbekistan’s scenic locales and in Lucknow’s by-lanes. The trailer promises romance and action-packed thrill.

Khuda Haafiz follows the story of Sameer (Vidyut Jammwal) and Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi). The young, newly-wed couple decides to go work abroad to find better career opportunities. However, under mysterious circumstances, Nargis goes missing in a foreign land. Sameer, a helpless common man, tries everything in his power to rescue her.

Vidyut Jammwal takes on a new kind of role:

Vidyut Jammwal’s prowess in movies has garnered him fame. However, this time, he will be seen in a new romantic avatar. He said, “Khuda Haafiz is a very special movie to me as my character Sameer is something that I have not attempted before. The movie is a perfect fusion of romance, action, and thriller, with an amazing cast. Faruk Kabir, the director-writer is extremely talented, and so it was a pleasure working with him. I’m glad that the movie will launch on a platform like Disney+ Hotstar VIP, because people from across the country will be able to enjoy it upon release.”

Excited with the trailer release, director-writer Faruk Kabir shares, “Khuda Haafiz from the time I wrote it to directing it, has and will always be at heart, a love story. However, it’s also an intensely emotional thriller. All it’s characters are from a true story. Therefore, I believe it will be a unique viewing experience.“

Producer Abhishek Pathak added, “Khuda Haafiz is very close to me and the entire team. Faruk’s vision, the realistic action, and the great performances by the cast will keep the audiences hooked. Thus, I am confident that audience will love the film, and look forward to their reaction.”

First day first..stream?

Several movies are slated for release under Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex, and Khuda Haafiz is the third. The movie features Vidyut Jammwal, Shivaleeka Oberoi, Annu Kapoor, Aahana Kumra, and Shiv Pandit. It is written and directed by Faruk Kabir. Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak (Panorama Studios International) are producing the film. Mithoon is the composer and the music is on Zee Music. Khuda Haafiz will release on 14th August 2020 only on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
