Pankit Thakker, who was last seen in &TV’s Laal Ishq, celebrated his birthday in style at Mumbai’s most happening gastropub – The Esora Friday night.

Celebrating with him were well-known faces of the industry such as actors Ridhima Pandit, Pallavi Pradhan, Mehul Nisar, Rajendra Chawla, Muskaan Mihani, Malhar Pandya, ace makeup artist Gurpreet Ghura, socialites Munisha Khatwani, Sachit Mittal and Ishreen Vadi as well as Sanjay Gadhvi, Vishal Furia, Daljit Kalsi among others.

The actor took this opportunity to send out a social message to his fans in the form of a birthday cake. In light of the recent rapidly spreading respiratory illness, COVID -19 (Coronavirus), Pankit Thakker along with Esora designed a cake focusing on the threat cigarette smoke and other inhaled toxins have on the human body.

When asked about the concept behind this interesting concept, Pankit replied,

” There are far more deaths due to self inflicted illnesses than those caused by environmental factors. Smoke inhalation and second hand smoking causes one’s lungs to become weak, putting us at a far greater risk of contracting upper respiratory diseases such as the Coronavirus. It’s time that we step up and take better care of our bodies so that we may be able to fight off life threatening illness with ease.”
