After Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh And Alia Bhatt Collaborate For THIS Film

Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy is one of the most memorable films of 2019. It starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

The film won many awards and the Jodi – Murad and Safeena – created magic on-screen.

Their chemistry received praise from everyone including audiences and film critics.

Now, the good news is that Ranveer and Alia are collaborating for another film.

Yes, you heard it right. If media reports are to be believed, the two will be sharing screen space in Baiju Bawra. This project will be helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

It is reportedly the remake of a 1952 film of the same name starring Bharat Bhushan and Meena Kumari in the lead roles.

While Bharat played the titular character Baiju, Meena Kumari, on the other hand, played Geeta who was his love interest. It will be exciting to see Ranveer and Alia stepping into the shoes of the yesteryear actors in the present remake.

As of now, Alia Bhatt is busy working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of Kabir Khan ‘83.

Ranveer Singh has earlier collaborated with Bhansali for a number of hit movies like Bajirao Mastani, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Padmaavat. All these films won both the actor and director many accolades.
