Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan in the lead, has been creating a strong buzz ever since the announcement of the film was made.
This film will see Aamir and Kareena Kapoor Khan reuniting on-screen after their performance in 3 Idiots.
The actors are currently busy with the shooting schedule of Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is the Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.
The duo recently wrapped up the shoot of another romantic song. The actor’s last romantic song together was the 2009 track Zoobi Doobi from 3 Idiots.
Talking about it, a source told the leading daily,
“Aamir and Kareena travelled back to Punjab to shoot for the second romantic song for the movie.”
Aamir and Kareena filmed a song titled Jugnu. It has been composed by Pritam with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Talking about the song shoot and thanking lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya and music composer Pritam, director Advait Chandan says,
“We had a blast shooting Jugnu which is a feel-good romantic song with Aamir sir and Kareena ma’am. They have such amazing chemistry that I didn’t want to call cut! I cannot wait for people to watch the song. I have half a mind of leaking it myself.”
Talking about the shoot schedules, the source said,
“Aamir has long shooting schedules in Punjab and Kareena is juggling between schedules in Mumbai and Punjab. She travels back and forth.”
Kareena returned to Mumbai during the weekend. It is written by Atul Kulkarni, Laal Singh Chaddha is helmed by Advait Chandan, is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions. The movie is slated to hit the theatres during Christmas 2020.
