Chhappak Title Track: Gulzar Saab Has To Say About His Creation

Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Chhappak.

This film brings forth a story that will not only change the way we view acid attack survivors but also tells how the strength of one woman led to the regulation of acid sale in the country.

Recently, the team of Chhappak launched the title track of the film. The song is penned by Gulzar Saab, and its music is composed by Shankar, Eshaan and Loy. It has been sung by the melodious Arijit Singh.

During the song launch, Gulzar Saab talked about the song. Here’s what he said,

“The three girls (Meghna, Deepika and Laxmi) have done an amazing job. They have started a Tahreek in English we call it a movement that will reach out to society. In this film also, the three producers are amazing. This story is all about a message that they want to tell society.”

On adding to this he also said,

“The title song of this film is a life song. All thanks to Laxmi because of her there is a lot of brightness and also all thanks to Shankar who has given this song a life.”

Adding to this, music composer Shankar Mahadevan said,

“To use music as communication is amazing. This film is not about commercial success it’s way more than that.”

Chhapaak is one of the most awaited films of 2020. It is a film that is based on the real-life story of Laxmi Agarwal. It is scheduled to hit screens on January 10, 2020.

On the work front, apart from Chhapaak, Deepika Padukone will also be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83 where she will essay the role of Ranveer Singh’s on-screen wife, Romi Dev.
