Kangana Ranaut is an amazing actress who has treated us to many box office successes right from her debut film Gangster.
She currently has many films in her kitty. Recently, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel took to social media and informed that Kangana Ranaut will be making films on topics people fear to discuss.
As per the reports of a leading daily, Kangana is in advanced talks with a studio.
She has finalized the subject of her first production. The film is titled Aparajitha Ayodhya and will be roll early next year.
As the title suggests, the film is on the court case which has been grabbing headlines. The Supreme Court, on November 9 this year, ordered that 2.77 acres of the disputed land in Ayodhya. It is handed over to a trust to be created by the government of India to build the Ram temple. An alternative five acres was given to the Sunni Waqf Board to build a mosque.
In an interview with a leading daily Kangana Ranaut said,
“The Ram temple has been a burning topic for hundreds of years. As a child born in the ’80s, I have grown up hearing the name Ayodhya. In a negative light because the piece of land on which was born a king was the epitome of sacrifices. He became the subject of a property dispute. The case has changed the face of Indian politics. The verdict has ended the centuries-old dispute while embodying the secular spirit of India.”
Talking about the film she adds,
“What makes Aparajitha Ayodhya different is that it is the journey of the protagonist from a non-believer to a believer. Since, in a way, it reflects my personal journey. I decided it would be the apt subject for my first production.”
She also adds,
“I’ve seen bhakts refusing to step out of the rain, arguing how can they be warm and dry. It is when Ram Lalla is wet and cold. Despite all efforts to wipe out our spirit of unity and secularism. We remain a nation of believers, we remain undefeated. Hence the prefix ‘Aparajitha’, which means the unvanquished.”
The film is scripted by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the creator of the Bahubali series. On the work front, Kangana next films are
Vijay’s Thalaivi, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga and Razneesh Ghai’s Dhaakad.
