Rajkummar Rao starrer Made In China is all set to hit theaters this Friday. The film also stars Mouni Roy, Amyra Dastur, Sumeet Vyas, Paresh Rawal and Gajraj Rao.
Amyra Dastur in a recent interview opened up about working with RajKummar Rao. According to her,
“It is easy to get overshadowed by the much-acclaimed actor if an artiste doesn’t “bring on their A-Game”.
Adding to this she said,
“Seeing a fine actor like Raj play two distinct roles across films was fun. I enjoy the pressure of being surrounded by actors like Boman Irani and Raj, because it makes me perform to the best of my ability.”
Given that like Irani, Dastur is also a Parsi, she admits her family members were thrilled to hear of their collaboration. She said,
“My family has always admired him. My community honours him. They were more excited about this film than they have been of my past offerings. His comic timing is truly worth watching.”
This film also marks her second collaboration working with Rajkummar Rao after Judgementall Hai Kya.
Dastur plays a business-savvy Gujrati girl, an assistant to Irani’s character, who Rao — a desperate businessman approaches to make a sale of his magic soup.
Made In China is a Mikhil Musale directorial. It is a production of Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios.
