Here’s Why Bala Director Amar Kaushik Was Clicking Pictures Of People

And for this, the dedicated director would actually hit the streets and covertly click pictures of people from behind and then share it with the hairstylist of the film.

Talking about it, Amar said,

“When a person unfortunately starts losing hair, there is a certain pattern to it. I didn’t want Ayushmann’s character to be gimmicky; the film had to be as authentic as possible. And I wanted to ensure that we don’t goof up the look. So every time I saw someone on the road with this condition, I would sneakily try and click their pictures from behind and share it with the stylist and saying this is how I want the look to be.”

Bala revolves around a young man who suffers from premature balding. Starring Saurabh Shukla, Jaaved Jaaferi and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. The film is a Maddock Films banner production.
