This Is Why Akshay Kumar Signed R Balki’s Mission Mangal

Akshay Kumar, who was last seen in Kesari has his kitty full with a lot of movies – Mission Mangal, Housefull 4, Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb and Good News.

Today, Akshay Kumar shared a note regarding Mission Mangal with a heartfelt message.

The actor mentioned that one of the reasons to take on the role in Mission Mangal was his daughter. He also mentioned that it is an inspiration to generations and that he is proud to be a part of the project.

R. Balki’s Mission Mangal also stars Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi.

Taapsee will be seen in the film as Kritika Aggarwal while Nithya will be playing the role of Varsha Pillai.

It is India’s first film to showcase a space mission which was successfully launched. Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal is all set to release this Independence Day.
