Fatima Sana Shaikh To Romance Sunny Singh In Chashme Baddoor 2?

Remember the 1982 film Chashme Baddoor starring Farooq Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi, Ravi Baswani and Saeed Jaffrey, the movie was remade in 2013 by David Dhawan which was titled as Chashme Baddoor which starred Taapsee Pannu, Ali Zafar, Siddharth, and Divyendu Sharma. And now the sequel of this film is all set to be made.

Director Sajid Samji is set to direct a remake on the lines of the 2013 film. The name locked in for the film is Chashme Baddoor 2 and it will star Sunny Singh in a lead role.

 

Dangal fame Fatima Sana Shaikh has been approached for the role of the female lead, Ms. Chamko which was immortalized by Deepti Naval in the original and later played by Taapsee in David Dhawan’s directorial.

 

Fatima has not yet signed the film. The film will be produced by Zee Studios, and expected to go on floors by year-end.
