Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan who was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero is known for his various social work too.
Yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan was felicitated with an honorary doctorate in Philanthropy by the University of Law in London. This is the second time SRK received a doctorate from the University of Law.
At the graduation ceremony, SRK said that charity should be done in silence and with dignity and one cannot speak about their charitable work as it loses its purpose. He added that because of his privilege as a public personality, he can champion causes that are close to his heart.
SRK said:
“I firmly believe that I have to give back to the world that has given me so much. I am humbled with this honorary doctorate bestowed upon me and would like to thank everyone involved for choosing me.”
