Andaz Apna Apna… I don’t know anyone who hasn’t watched this movie. And if you haven’t then boy you are making a big mistake. If you haven’t watched Andaz Apna Apna then you are gonna face the biggest regret of your life.
Andaz Apna Apna was released on 4 November 1994. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film stars Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor.
Today we at UrbanAsian would like to give you 6 reasons on why you need to re-watch Andaz Apna Apna and go crazy all over again.
- The Jabraku Jodi of Amar & Prem:
Amar played by Aamir Khan and Prem played by Salman Khan is so far the best jodi that I have witnessed so far. These two will make you laugh so much so that you will be forced to shed tears of happiness. Their perfect comic timings, their expression and the love and hate relationship will make you fall in love with this jhakaas jodi.
- From Crime Master Gogo to Teja:
The rest of the cast i.e Raveena, Karishma, Crime Master Gogo, Teja, Robert, Vinod Bhalla everyone has done their best. There is not one character that you won’t remember and not fall in love with. After this movie, Shakti Kapoor has been famously called as Crime Master Gogo and boy no one can play a cool villain like him.
- Rib-Tickling Dialogues:
From the start till the end the movie has got amazing dialogues. Well, kudos to Rajkumar Santoshi for thinking of such wacky dialogues. Dialogues such as Suno suno duniya ke logon, sabse bada hai Mister Gogo, Aaya hun, kuch toh leke jaunga. Khaandani chor hun main, Unka ek sawaal, humare do-do jawaab. Sawaal ek, jawab do, Teja main hoon, mark idhar hai and many more will stay in your heart and mind forever.
- Priceless Scenes:
It is quite difficult to pick out a particular scene from the movie that we loved as the entire movie is simply awesome. But there are scenes like the one where Amar and Prem come to deliver money to Teja to relieve their Karishma and Raveena’s uncle. Then the scene where Amar and Prem grab a gun to scare all the villains and it turns out there is no bullet in the gun and many more. I am already going bonkers thinking about the scenes.
- Kickass Action:
Well, no movie be it Hollywood, Bollywood, Mollywood or Tollywood can beat the action scenes of Andaz Apna Apna. Agree or not? The Crime-Master Gogo Fight Scene, The fight scene between Crime Master Gogo and Prem, in fact, the entire last scene is simply kickass.
- Background Score:
The background score of the movie is on point and will put a mark on your mind. No Bollywood movie has a background score like this one.
Well, I know you don’t need reasons to watch Andaz Apna Apna again and again but in case you had doubts of re-watching it (which probably you won’t) then these reasons are enough to make you go gaga over the movie all over again.
